The club known as the Connersville Country Club was founded in the mid 1920’s with the intent to provide good fellowship, fine food, and entertainment, and a challenging golf course. The golf course was originally 9 holes and with the addition of 9 more holes became an 18 hole par 72 layout in the mid 1960’s. The club has hosted many outstanding state events such as the Indiana PGA Stroke Play Championship, The Indianapolis Women’s Amateur, and the inaugural Indiana Women’s Senior Championship. The country club was purchased by the Mauger family in 2007 and Greenbriar Golf 244, LLC. has taken over in 2020 as a public daily fee operation with memberships available and facilities that include a full service bar and a fully stocked pro shop.
